Join the Rotary Club of Florence, serving all of Boone County on Monday, May 3, 2021 as we hear from Dr. Joe Hibbett (@joeymh43), principal of Boone County Schools’ RISE Academy. Dr Hibbett is going to talk to us about Poverty in Boone County: A Vision and a Journey.
Dr. Hibbett is the principal of the RISE Academy. He specializes in working with students and parents in Boone County who are experiencing financial and emotional poverty and has been for over 10 years. Dr. Hibbett has become a major advocate for the extreme at – risk students. His main goal is to rediscover the value of public education through poverty.
